When installing the distribution cabinet, we need to pay attention to the following five requirements:

1. The selection of installation location. In the actual installation process, if the location of the distribution cabinet is not very perfect or different from the actual site requirements, the installer shall timely submit modification opinions to the design unit, and the designer shall carry out all-round conception according to the construction drawings or carry out investigation at the actual construction site, In addition, the actual installation position of the distribution cabinet shall be determined in detail under the condition of meeting the actual needs without affecting the appearance.

2. It is a basic skill for a qualified electrician to determine the reasonable installation position according to the actual needs of the site, determine the installation height according to the specifications and firmly install the distribution cabinet. According to the specifications, the height from the bottom of the distribution cabinet to the ground is generally 1.4m, which can also be appropriately increased or reduced according to the convenience of actual operation and maintenance, and with the consent of the design unit.

In the same place, the installation height of large-area and multiple distribution cabinets shall be unified. The installation of distribution cabinets must be flat, firm, and the levelness deviation shall not be too large. The connection between the incoming and outgoing line pipes of the exposed assembly cabinet and the distribution cabinet shall be tight, firm, exquisite and beautiful.

3. The conductor shall be connected tightly and firmly. The box body shall be provided with safe and reliable neutral wire terminal and ground wire terminal. The connection between the connecting conductor, power incoming line and load outgoing line in the distribution cabinet and the electrical components must be tight and firm without looseness. The stripping length of the conductor shall be appropriate, the core wire shall not be exposed, and the crimping shall be tight. The distribution cabinet shall be provided with complete neutral wire terminal, The box must have firm and reliable protective grounding terminals.

According to the specification requirements: the connection between conductor and electrical components must be equipped with spring washer and pressed firmly.

4. The conductor color shall be selected according to the specifications. When wiring in the three-phase power distribution cabinet, the conductor color shall be selected according to the specifications for the power incoming line, load outgoing line and the connecting line of electrical components in the box. That is, phase A is yellow, phase B is green, phase C is red, and the neutral line is light blue or black. The ground wire is a yellow / Green two-color wire. It is strictly prohibited to use the Yellow / Green two-color wire as other wires. The connection of incoming and outgoing lines in the box shall be fine and arranged tightly.

The connecting wires of electrical components shall be arranged horizontally and vertically, neat and beautiful. The bending radius at the corner shall not be less than 6 times of the outer diameter of the conductor, and the allowance of each group of connecting conductors shall be bound into bundles.

5. Keep the inside and outside of the box clean and clearly mark the distribution cabinet number. After the installation of the distribution cabinet, sundries shall be removed and kept clean and tidy. The purpose and number of the electrical circuit shall be clearly marked on the surface of the distribution cabinet for future maintenance.
